Faro

As the capital city of the Algarve it might not come as much of a surprise that Faro offers such much for holiday markers. With the airport being situated in Faro, people often pass through Faro on their way to Quinta do Lago and other local areas. However when you see how much history is in the area as well as shops, restaurants, bars, theatres and more it is easy to see why Faro is worth a visit on its own merit and not just a pass through place.
