Beautiful landscaped gardens surround a heatable pool and sun terraces.  The grounds also boast a large barbecue area and outdoor fireplace as well as a terrace with dining table and chairs.  There are ample sun beds around the garden and near the pool.

Golf/Sport:
Vale do Lobo golf course which consists of 54 holes of fantastic golfing experience is located less than 10 minutes drive from the property.  Also, the stunning 18 hole San Lorenzo Golf Course set on the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve and Quinta de Lago North & South Championship Courses are within a short drive away.  If your golfing is a bit rusty there are a number of driving ranges in the vicinity to practice your swing.

If golf's not your thing you should go to the Jimmy Stewart or David Lloyd Tennis Centre's, wind surfing, deep sea fishing, horse riding, sailing, go karting or many other facilities that can be found within a short drive of the Property.

The beach at Quinta do Lago is reached by crossing a long bridge over an estuary in the Ria Formosa Nature Park and the lovely golden sands stretch along the coast to Vale do Lobo.  The sandstone cliffs provide a beautiful backdrop to the wonderful sandy beach which is excellent for both relaxing sunbathing and enjoying energetic family games.  A convenient bar/restaurant serves up refreshments and meals, including freshly caught fish, right on the beach.  Boat trips are available from the beach at Quinta do Lago and it is also possible to charter a yacht.

Faro airport is located a 20 minute drive away from the property

Bed Linen/Towels/ Baby Requirements:
Towels and bed linen are provided for along with pool towels.  Bed linen is changed once a week and towels are changed twice a week.

Villa Rua Tua consists of 6 bedrooms that are all finished to a high standard and all have en-suites, built in wardrobes and plasma TV's.

The top floor of the villa is where two bedrooms are located. The first is the master bedroom and this room oozes pure luxury. It has everything that anyone could ever want, with a king size bed, an en-suite with twin basins and a double walk in shower. There is a separate kitchen with a traditional finish, walk in wardrobes an office, balcony and sun terrace for those times when peace and quiet and privacy is required.

Also located on the top floor is Bedroom 2. This consists of a double bed and two private balconies with an en-suite that has a full bathroom with twin basins and a double shower.

The ground floor also holds two more double bedrooms that both have en-suites with twin basins and double showers. Both bedrooms give access to sun terraces that give each bedroom its own little piece of something special. Unwinding after a day in the sun or just digesting the spectacular views, the sun terrace captures the beauty of Quinta do Lago.

Bedrooms 5 and 6 are situated in the basement but they still contain the charm and same finish as the other bedrooms. Bedroom 6 has twin beds and an en-suite that consists of a full bathroom with twin basins and a double shower.

The grounds of Villa Rua Tua are simply breath taking, landscaped, luscious and with lots of colour it is a beautiful place to be. The grounds snake around the heatable pool as well as the sun terraces and the barbecue area and outdoor fireplace really help to maximize and improve the outdoor space. There is ample space for eating with a large dining table and chairs and more than enough sun loungers dotted around the pool.
